Time for another reminder about the recommended last posting dates – although we cannot stress highly enough that it is best to order early. There are problems in Sorting Offices all around UK due to high volumes of parcel post, staff shortages and of course, social distancing measures which mean that some parcels are being severely delayed. In terms of overseas orders , there are more issues to contend with - lack of available flights, and entry into countries via only one hub in many countries, means that parcels arrive in high numbers at one customs entry point and again, sit in a backlog until they can be dispersed around the country in question, where of course, the same issues that UK sorting offices are experiencing happen there too. Please remember these are recommended last dates, not guaranteed last dates!

Friday 18 December - 2nd class post
Monday 21 December – 1st class post
Wednesday 23 December – Special Delivery **

** That said, Christmas Eve is classed as a Saturday by Royal Mail and therefore it could be that your parcel will not be guaranteed to arrive then, and will be dependent on how busy/short staffed your local Sorting Office is.
