The annual piece for 2008, and the first edition of the “Endangered Wildlife” trilogy. The piece marks another departure for Swarovski with there being 2 separate elements to the piece. This depicts a Mother and baby panda. Designed by Heinz Tabertshofer, the pandas are 3 ¾” and 2 ¼” tall respectively. The mother panda holds a stalk of bamboo in her paws – the favourite food of the Giant Panda. There is no stand for this piece, but a plaque exists for display with the entire trilogy.
