Following the issue of the clear Bull issued in 2004, 2005 saw the first of a Numbered Limited Designer Edition produced by Swarovski. This piece was limited to just 1,000 pieces worldwide. It has the same base and packaging as the clear bull and is in exactly the same pose as the clear bull. The only difference is that the piece is made entirely from black crystal, and the bull has red eyes.

Each piece is hand signed by Adi Stocker, just behind the bull’s left foreleg.

The Black Bull comes with a framed certificate of authenticity which bears the signatures of Adi Stocker and Helmut Swarovski and the number of the piece ie 1234/1000. The piece is housed in a secure blue case which also contains a cleaning cloth, a pair of Swarovski gloves and a small book. The case is lockable using a key. This magnificent piece was only available in 2005 and was distributed by a lottery system, in which SCS members interested in purchasing the piece expressed an interest, and a secret draw was held to select the “winners” who were then invited to purchase the piece. Because of the very limited nature of the piece, it is quite difficult to find.
